You will find people of many nationalities, with their languages and cultures, strolling down the Pacific Mall, tasting the exquisite variety of coffee blends and delicious foods while they browse the latest New York Best sellers or peruse ParisMatch, The London Times or Il Corriere Della Sera in your favorite local bookstores such as the unic Bookshop Santa Cruz, Borders and many others.
The University of California Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College, two wonderful institutions of higher learning are an additional bonus. You just have to come and see for yourself, and I haven't even mentioned the beaches, sea lions, sailboats, mountains, Redwoods, meadows, parks and open space, the incredible weather and the abundance of greenery and magnificent flowers... It's magical, even sublime sometimes.
